Siren testing for certain areas of Tutuila today

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — The ASG Department of Homeland Security (ASDHS) issued a notice two days ago that it will be conducting a test of the siren system at 12noon today, May 6 — for certain villages and areas and for the public not to be alarmed.

Those villages and areas are: Tula, Aunu’u, Alao, Auasi, Amouli, Alofau, Faga’itua, Avaio, Lauli’i Tuai, Lauli’i Fou, Amaua, Onesosopo, Atu’u, Pago Pago, Utulei ECE, LBJ Medical Center, Fagaalu Park, Avau, Fatu ma Futi, Matu’u, Nu’uuli, Lions Park, American Samoa Power Authority area, Pago Pago International Airport, Veterans Memorial Stadium, Vaitogi, Leone Midkiff Elementary School and and Amaluia.
