Samoa school hours change to adjust for daylight savings time

Government school hours in Samoa have been adjusted as the country is preparing for daylight saving. The Ministry of Education says all schools will be moving to start from 8.30 in the morning and finish at two in the afternoon. The change comes after many criticised daylight saving last year because children had to catch the bus or walked to schools when it was still dark.
