Starkist to spend $3.6 mil to relocate headquarters

Pittsburg, PENNSYLVANIA — StarKist Co. said it will spend $3.6 million to relocate its corporate and administrative headquarters operations to Fairfax County, Virginia, where the company expects to have 83 employees, according to the Pittsburg Gazette newspaper.

The company announced recent plans to relocate its headquarters from Pittsburg to Virginia.

"At StarKist we are committed to growing our business in Virginia," said Andrew Choe, president and CEO, StarKist, in a company statement.
