National Marine Sanctuary’s Advisory Council will meet virtually on March 16
Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — The public is invited to attend NOAA’s National Marine Sanctuary of American Samoa virtual meeting of the Sanctuary Advisory Council via Google Meet video conferencing (due to COVID restrictions and safety protocols), which can be accessed via the link posted below.
Items on the agenda include updates NMSAS Condition Report, Conservation Science Program Priorities & Climate Change Action Plan, other program updates and scheduling the next meeting.
Those wishing to comment on agenda items may add their name to the public comment sign-up sheet located in the DROP Area outside of the Ocean Center today. Oral testimony may be limited to three minutes per person, depending on time.
The deadline to submit a written copy of testimonies is Tuesday, March 12, 2021. Afterward, it is the submitter’s responsibility to provide sanctuary staff with the electronic documents for distribution to the council members in attendance. Written comments may be emailed to Alaese.Tauofe@noaa.gov.
