Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — The American Samoa Soil & Water Conservation District, together with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service, invites the public to attend the American Samoa Local Working Group meeting.

Join us Aug. 18, 10 a.m., at the Pago Plaza in Pago Pago, American Samoa.

This event encourages agricultural leaders, farmers and forest landowners to connect with agency representatives and share their views about American Samoa’s natural resource conditions and conservation needs. Participants’ input will help identify key concerns and inform NRCS’s local conservation program development and funding decisions.

The Local Working Group advises NRCS, ensuring that conservation programs are tailored to American Samoa’s unique needs. Together, these stakeholders collaborate to strengthen conservation efforts throughout the region.
