Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — In a public service announcement from LBJ Tropical Medical Center, dated Monday, December 18, 2023, the water issues faced by the hospital are reported to still be ongoing and identify the issues as water pressure and water quality that resulted from heavy rains. They continue to work through the problems.

However, they are opening all outpatient clinics today, Tuesday, December 19, 2023 and resuming normal operations. “All clinical staff working in outpatient clinics are to report back to work.”

In the meantime, “all nonessential, nonclinical staff are to contact your Department Head as soon as possible to discuss returning back to your work assignment.

“Each Department Head will determine the necessary staff to carry out nonclinical duties for their respective area.”
