The Samoan Congregational Christian Church of Ft. Hood, TX or Samoa-i-Texas, held its annual A’oga Samoa in the month of July.  They are under the leadership of Rev. Menise and Mali Sasa.  This is the 21^st year of A’oga Samoa. 

The mission of the A’oga Samoa is to teach the Samoan culture and language to Samoan children who were born and raised outside of Samoa.  Every year, they choose a theme from the Samoan culture to focus on. In years past, they’ve studied the Samoan tattoo or tatau, Samoan games and the matai system.
