Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — The American Samoa Power Authority (ASPA) is advising the public that a power shutdown is scheduled today, Friday, January 30th 2026, from 10:00am to 1:00pm for only a certain area of Tafuna/ Ottoville, which is from Tradewinds Hotel intersection to Peteli Church area.

The power shutdown will enable ASPA crews to perform necessary repairs and preventive maintenance work on existing power lines and poles that serve this area.
