Hawaiian Air will offer travel waivers including for American Samoa

Honolulu, HAWAII — Hawaiian Airlines is offering travel assistance waivers to its passengers — including those travelers to and from American Samoa — who hare opting to change travel plans due to the impact of new travel advisories and restrictions implements by governments as the coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads globally affecting travel worldwide.

“We understand travel plans may be unexpectedly impacted by new government advisories or restrictions,” Hawaiian spokesperson Alex Da Silva told Samoa News last Friday, and points to the airline’s website - www.hawaiianairlines.com/coronavirus - which lists the airline’s travel assistance waivers information.

According to the airline’s COVID-19 webpage, passengers who book flights between Mar. 1st to 31st “may change their travel to a future date without incurring change fees.” Hawaiian reservation center for the US and Canada - 1-800-367-5320 and in Pago Pago - 699-1875.
