Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — The Pago Pago International Airport (PPG) is proud to announce a series of updates designed to significantly enhance the travel experience for both passengers and visitors. The improvements, which span from aesthetic upgrades to functional additions, reflect the airport's ongoing commitment to providing a welcoming and functional terminal building as we move towards building a new, modern, welcoming, and efficient terminal building.

NEW PAINT AND AESTHETIC IMAGES

In a move to refresh the airport terminal’s look and feel, the terminal has undergone a painting overhaul. To complement the new paint scheme, photographic displays have been added throughout the terminal. "We wanted to create an atmosphere that not only makes our visitors feel welcome but also gives them a taste of what makes American Samoa so unique," said Barney Sene.

RENOVATED PARKING LOT

In addition to aesthetic improvements, the airport has also revamped its parking facilities. The parking lot has been fully repainted with new line markings to ensure clearer, safer, and more organized spaces. With more clearly defined spaces and enhanced signage, passengers and their families can expect a smoother, stress-free parking experience.

FREE WI-FI FOR ALL TRAVELERS

In a move to meet the growing demand for connectivity, Pago Pago International Airport has introduced free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the terminal, in partnership with Blue Sky. This new service allows travelers to stay connected, work, or simply browse the web while waiting for their flights. The addition of free Wi-Fi comes as part of the airport’s broader efforts to meet modern traveler expectations and provide an enhanced customer service experience. “We understand that staying connected is more important than ever, whether you're traveling for business or leisure," said Sene.

"By providing free Wi-Fi, we're offering a convenient and modern solution that allows our visitors to make the most of their time at the airport."

A COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE

These updates are just the beginning of Pago Pago International Airport's continuous commitment to improving the passenger service and experience as we move towards the construction of the new modern airport terminal that will be twice as large as the existing terminal, height and room spacious, integrate jet bridges for passengers to walk or wheelchair directly onto aircraft, and designed with additional enhancements, including future upgrades to security and access systems, expanded concessions, and new initiatives to make the airport even more efficient and welcoming. "We are constantly looking for ways to improve the passenger experience at Pago Pago International," said Sene.
