Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — The American Samoa Council on Arts, Culture and Humanities (ASCACH) is hosting two nights of performances, starting tonight, at 5p.m at Veterans Memorial Stadium, which is also where the International Farm Fair opened yesterday morning and runs through Apr. 17th.

Arts Council executive director Fuata Male F. Tiumalu will deliver brief remarks at tonight’s opening with two groups — Malaeloa Methodist Youth and EFKS Ierusalema Fou Youth from Petesa — set to perform.

For tomorrow night, Apr. 16th, three groups are on the program: Fagatogo Methodist Youth, Pago Pago Catholic Youth and Siona CCCAS Leone Youth.

Meanwhile the Governor’s Office yesterday reminds the community that there will be no BBQ at Suigaula o le Atuvasa Park after the Flag raising ceremony tomorrow at Malaeoletalu in Fagatogo — as originally planned.

Instead, the public is invited to join the Governor and VIP guests at the Stadium. And beginning at 10am, tomorrow, the Office of the Governor will be set up at the Stadium to issue vouchers for use inside the fair at any of the over 60 restaurants that will be set up that day.

Another reminder for Flag Day related event: the Department of Marine & Wildlife Resources two-day 2021 Tutuila Island Flag Day Fishing Tournament kicks off this morning at the Malaloa marina.
