Tafuna, AMERICAN SAMOA — (February 26, 2026) The American Samoa Government Office of Procurement is proud to recognize National Procurement Month 2026 under the theme, “Collaborative Procurement: Building Partnerships for Shared Success.”

The month will kick off with a Prayer Service, followed by a Procurement Symposium bringing together procurement professionals from the American Samoa Government Office of Procurement (OP), American Samoa Community College (ASCC), American Samoa Power Authority (ASPA), American Samoa Telecommunications Authority (ASTCA), Development Bank of American Samoa (DBAS), and LBJ Tropical Medical Center.

The Symposium will provide an opportunity to strengthen partnerships, share best practices, and promote coordination across agencies.

Throughout March, the Office of Procurement will also host procurement training for ASG departments, along with additional professional development and team-building activities to enhance capacity, accountability, and collaboration.

National Procurement Month recognizes the essential role procurement professionals play in ensuring responsible stewardship of public funds and advancing effective public service delivery across the Territory.
