2020 Traditional Lunar Calendars are now available

Honolulu, HAWAII — In celebration of the lunar new year, which begins Friday/Saturday, January 25/26, the Western Pacific Regional Fishery Management Council is pleased to announce the availability of the 2020 traditional lunar calendars for Hawaiʻi, American Samoa, Guam and the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands.

The calendars aim to raise awareness about traditional ecological knowledge and enhance community involvement in fishery management. Please download and print the PDF copies of the calendars by  going to www.wpcouncil.org/educational-resources/lunar-calendars/
