Daughter of Am Samoa graduates from Sergeant Major Academy

Master Sergeant Suzie Nu’uvali

Fort Bliss, TEXAS — Newly commissioned Master Sergeant Suzie Nu’uvali of Aua village, American Samoa has graduated from the Sergeant Major Academy in Fort Bliss, Texas

She was among the 516 military students who graduated from the academy and earned the new military rank of Sergeant Major

In addition to graduating from the Academy, Sgt. Major Nuuvali also completed her BA in Leadership and Workforce Development and BA in Business Management.

She is the daughter of the late Auimatagi Salamasina Dorothy Morris and granddaughter to Susie and Oloatua Apineru of Aua village. She currently resides in Fort Bliss, Texas, with her 14-year-old son Tauloa.  (See full Samoan story in today’s Lali section.)
