Orepa Talo won the first gold medal for the AmSam Weightlifting Team in New Caledonia on Wednesday, with the highest total score of 168kgs in the 75+kgs Youth Division, while Jennade Ausage, who also competed in the 75+kgs Youth Division, came 4th with a total score of 125kgs. Members of the weightlifting team competing today are Naomi Taumalua, Elliott Kim & Malaki Sitagata.
