US tuna brand Chicken of the Sea has issued a 2,745 case recall stemming from the same issues at the Lyons, Georgia plant where it co-packed tuna for rival Bumble Bee Foods, sources told Undercurrent News.Chicken of the Sea, owned by Thai Union Group, said in a statement that the cases of its branded 5 oz canned chunk light tuna in oil and 5 oz canned chunk light tuna in water products may have been undercooked due to an equipment malfunction.The plant is operated by Thai Union subsidiary, Tri-Union Seafoods.\There have been no reported illnesses to date connected with the affected products
