Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — A huge crowd gathered this past Saturday when the American Samoa DOH Behavioral Health Services announced the winners for their "Life is a Movie" competition for Elementary schools.

Public School winners:

1st Place: Leone Midkiff Elementary School

2nd Place: Manulele Tausala Elementary School

3rd Place: Peter Tali Coleman Pago Elementary School

Private School winners:

1st Place: Marist Saint Francis Elementary School

2nd Place: Iakina Adventist Academy

3rd Place: South Pacific International Christian School

Partnering with the Dept. of Education for the event was Dept. of Youth and Women’s Affairs (DYWA), under director Salote Aoelua and her staff, including AD Talalupelele Fiso and Acting Director Vesi Talalelei Fautanu who assisted with the prize giving.
