The National Park of American Samoa (NPAS) is home to some of the most incredible coral reefs in the world. The Ofu back reef pools, located on Ofu Island are known for their shallow, crystal-clear waters and bright, colorful corals. While many reefs around the world are struggling with bleaching from rising ocean temperatures, the corals in Ofu are showing that some reefs are able to adapt and survive.  [Photo: Natasha Ripley via NPAS]
