US to fund opioid fight in Guam, FSM, American Samoa

Washington, D.C. — A US federal agency has directed nearly $US2 million in funding to three Pacific states to fight an opioid crisis.
The money is part of a $US932 million government package given to US states and territories to combat drugs.
Guam, the Federated States of Micronesia and American Samoa will get $US630,000 each from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
