Amata highlights Armed Forces Day and Military Appreciation Month
Washington, D.C. — Friday, Congresswoman Aumua Amata recognized National Armed Forces Day (May 16) and National Military Appreciation Month (May):
“In American Samoa, we are so proud of every one of our many men and women serving our country. We are blessed to have our own representing each branch of the Armed Forces.
“We have officers and enlisted, Reserves, and others in the prestigious Service Academies. We take this occasion to express how much we honor all of you, your important service to our country, and the service and sacrifice you and our military families make.
“Thank you. We have you in our thoughts, and may the Lord bless and keep you as you serve.”
