The core of the Samoana Jazz & Arts Festival recognizes that talents and cultural strengths are gifts – to be nurtured and celebrated.
‘O taleni fa’amusika ma tu ma aga, o meaalofa nei ua atia’e i lenei fa’amoemoe’ – is the Festival motto – sung in unison by the 2 festival boards of the 2Samoas.
And one doesn’t need to go far – or look beyond our shores to see such Treasures – shining – sometimes hidden, obscure within our very midst – or waiting for the moment to shine.
This year’s local line-up mixed in the Samoana Festival American Samoa promises to wow audiences and festival goers – the combined international experience of our musicians spans Hawai’i, San Francisco, The Bay area, Hollywood, Utah, at one end of the globe to Samoa, Fiji, Auckland NZ, Australia at the other end.
