Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Some local residents informed Samoa News of this photo posted on Neil’s ACE Home Center Facebook page, of the company’s check cashing policy, as the second round in the distribution of Economic Impact Payment (EIP) or stimulus checks, will be in local mail boxes tomorrow for those who qualify.

Like many other local retailers, Neil’s does not cash third party checks of $1,000 or more —this should be done at the bank.

Stimulus checks are way more than $1,000 and much higher for those with qualified children.

Tomorrow’s stimulus checks distribution will — once again — cause long lines at the banks, especially Territorial Bank of American Samoa, and horrible traffic slow-downs on the main road.
