Update: Town now reopened after report of bomb threat at wharf

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Close to 12pm, Police cleared the road, and people who work at the offices around the area have been cleared to return to work after the area was evacuated earlier in the morning.
Samoa News staff was told to evacuate immediately, Police officers set up roadblocks and returned people heading out and into town.
In addition there were other unconfirmed reports from Police Officers controlling traffic there is a threat to American Samoa borders and the airport is also evacuated.
However, the American Samoa Government has yet to issue a statement, nor a public warning of the alleged bomb threats to the borders.
As of 11:30am the post office was closed as a result.
