Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Data released yesterday by the Health Department shows that only 48.5% of the eligible population is COVID-19 fully vaccinate and the target is 80% or more.
You are considered fully vaccinated 14 days after your second shot in a 2-dose series like the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or 14 days after a single-dose vaccine like the Janssen [Johnson & Johnson] vaccine,” said DoH.
“If you do not meet the above guidelines, you are NOT fully vaccinated yet.”
DoH along with the ASG COVID-19 Task Force continues to urge the public to get vaccinated.
