Hometown News: Pfc. Sellers graduates from basic

(PRESS RELEASE) —Army Reserve Pfc. Benjimen L. Sellers has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.

Sellers is the son of Nalani Tupua of American Samoa and a 2007 graduate of Tafuna High School, American Samoa.

This is PFC sellers currently in Georgia, Fort Gordon undergoing AIT. A correction on my Mother, which is my Sister. I was raised by my father the late Mr. William M. Sellers and Mrs. Malo A. Sellers. [Editor's note:  Thanks for sending the info.]
