| SN, you got the error police on staff-- tell it like it is---
Doctor Paul Cox used the know how of our samoan medicinal techniques to launch what could be the cure for AIDS. Why do we need to share with Berkley? The know how belongs to Samoans?
SN has the edit police out and me suprise if this gets out. Read and Understand how Paul Cox visited our Samoan healers-- for it was all for the money, right Paul? |

| Yeah, It is a good news they discovered the cure for aids/cancer from Samoa. That's awesome. My advice for the Palemia Tuilaepa, is to make sure the Government meet with each village, especially the village of Falealupo, where most of the mamala trees grow, I know and understand this will benefit Samoa, What a Great News.. BUT, do it the right/honest way. This deal is being hailed by some, but, it is not rosy as it looks. The Samoan people are being told it is good for us...but it is very paternalistic. you jumped the gun and signed agreement with these organisation, without consultation with the people of Samoa. i.e. villages. Dont ever forget what happen in Salelologa i le 1990's, you dont want to see that happen again, The lesson that the Government learned from the Salelologa case. The most important thing is to maintain the faasamoa (Samoan way of life) between the government and villages. The va tapuia amongst the matais is still paramount and that is one essence of the Samoan way of life. My only timaiga and fa'anaunauga, Mr Palemia, O mealelei uma lava mo le manuia o Samoa, ae aua le faia e kumu ai lava le kaga a le au sifi i Mulinu'u ma Tiafau, ae falolo ai lava le lautele o le atunuu.. Keep in mind Mr Palemia, Samoa is not the only place, the mamala trees being grow widely around the Pacific including Fiji, Vanuatu and Tahiti, e faigofie lava na pull ese mai le deal ma Samoa if any conflicts occur....Manuia le fa'asausauga a Samoa na Lua. |

| FA'AFETAI SAMOA FOR PUTTING THE SAMOANS IN THE NEWS AGAIN. AT LEAST NOT LIKE THE CNN REPORT THAT WAS DEVASTATING AND DISGUSTING FOR AMERIKA SAMOA; BUT IT IS STILL SAMOA!!!
IT IS SO REFRESHING AND PROUD TO SEE THESE KIND OF NEWS THAT WE ARE, AND CAN BE PROUD OF. IT WILL BENEFIT EVERYONE WITH THE AIDS DISEASE GLOBAL-WIDE.

| What a marvelous discovery. May there be a speedy cure to this deadly disease as well as an end to its worldwide spread. Many congratulations to our neighboring island, Samoa for its contracted contribution of the mamala tree to the study conducted in UC Berkeley for a cure to the AIDS disease. Fa’afetai tele lava. |
