The Samoa Bowl X was opened with a final pass from out-going Gov. Togiola Tulafono, to open the football game on New Year’s Day. The Samoa Bowl is one of the annual events promoted by the governor to encourage cultural awareness among Samoan youth, in particular those who are born and lived off island most of their lives.
