Indiana U lands tackle Sio Nofoagatoto'a

Three-star defensive tackle Sio Nofoagatoto'a

Bloomington, INDIANA — Tom Allen and the Indiana football staff closed out a strong month of June by securing the services of three-star defensive tackle Sio Nofoagatoto'a. The six-foot-two 321-pound lineman out of Clearwater Academy International made his announcement on Twitter on Saturday afternoon.

Nofoagatoto'a wrote "All glory to God for blessing me with the opportunities I've been given to choose my dreams. I'd like to thank my mom, dad, my siblings, and my whole family for always believing in me and motivating me through this whole journey. I'd like to thank all the schools that put their time and effort into recruiting me. I'm thankful for all the opportunities I have received and the relationships I've made throughout this process. I'd like to say a big thank you to Coach Keiki for always helping and believing in me. A big thank you to Coach Jesse, Coach Bob, Coach David, Coach George and the whole staff at Clearwater Academy International from day 1 you believed in me and I'm forever thankful to have you guys in my life not only as coaches but as mentors. Overall, I'm thankful for the whole support system that has been behind me. At the end of the day I have to make the best decision for me and my family and with all of that being said I would like to announce that I will be furthering my academic and athletic career at (Indiana University) #LEO #GoHoosiers"

Nofoagatoto'a is originally from America Samoa. After a brief time in Australia, his family moved to Clearwater, FL where he played for Clearwater International Academy.
