Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — In Matthew 19:26, “Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." This is God’s words that inspired our Lead Organizer, Reverend Lagofa’atasi Ae of The All Peoples Pentecostal Church in Pago Pago to create and spearhead a community event that is focused in developing and improving our youth.

The youth and the future will always be linked because none can exist in the absence of another. A community that fails to invest in the future of its youth is a lost nation. It is a fact that the stronger the youth, the more developed the community is.

For this reason, we are uniting 9 different church denominations and 9 business entities in the hopes that this can lead to a stronger community.

The 2019 Pago Pago Youth Volleyball Tournament will be held at the Department of Youth and Women’s Affairs’ (DYWA) Community Center from Feb. 23 thru April 13.

The theme of this volleyball tournament is “With God, all things are possible”.

This event would not be possible without the initiative of Reverend Lagofa’atasi Ae and California Ae, and the unending support from our major sponsors: Congresswoman Aumua Amata, Paramount Chief Maoputasi Mauga, High Chief Pulu Ae, House of Representative Honorable Vesiai Poyer Samuelu, DYWA Director Jonathan Fanene, Pago Pago Trading Company Ltd CEO Ella Gurr, Tool Shop, H&H Inc, Nana’s Inc, TM Inc, Lucky Fastfood, Uptown Shopette, Tutuila Printing, Manua Inc, Aiga Mart, DPS, EMS, Pastor Savaliga and his officiating crew, Slickers Day Care and all other government agencies and private sector companies that believe in this Godly cause.
