Apia, SAMOA — Airline company Talofa Airways has applied to the Samoa Government for approval to service the Niue and Wallis and Futuna routes.

The airline, which is headquartered in Samoa's domestic Fagali'i airport in Apia, currently flies to Pago Pago in American Samoa and Tongatapu in Tonga.

Talofa Airways placed an advertisement in the Sunday June 16, 2019 edition of the Samoa Observer to advise that it has applied to the Ministry of Works Transport and Infrastructure — in line with the requirements of Samoa's Civil Aviation Act — to advise of its intentions in line with its operating license.

Members of the public, who have issues with the airline's application to expand its services, have been invited to write to the Ministry of Works Transport and Infrastructure within 14 days of the notice been published.

Established in August 2016, Talofa Airways is owned and operated by Toleafoa Jeffrey Hunter using two a twin Commander 690B model, which is a pressurized high-wing twin turboprop.
