Apia, SAMOA — Samoan Highland Hideaway is hosting its first ever retreat to help people learn how to live a whole food-plant based lifestyle, a lifestyle that has been shown to prevent and even reverse obesity, diabetes and heart disease.

Tim Walkden-Brown of the Samoan Highland Hideaway has been following this method for 6 months and said his health had greatly improved since making the switch as well as loosing 8 kg in the process. “I’m completely dedicated to this way of life, I’ve never felt better” said Walkden-Brown, “I’m so pleased to be able to bring together a dedicated and professional team to put this retreat together, so many people in Samoa can benefit from this lifestyle and this is our way to help show how it can be done,” he added.

The retreat will take place from Friday July 20 to Sunday July 22 at the Samoan Highland Hideaway. Information on the retreat can be found at www.samoanhighlandadventures.com/wfpb-retreat.
