Apia, SAMOA — The Police are investigating three separate deaths.

They involve a three-month-old baby, 11-month-old toddler and a 24-year-old man.

This was confirmed by the Police yesterday.

On 10 October 2018, the Police said they received a call from the Tupua Tamasese Meaole Hospital regarding a three-month-old boy.

“The biological mother of the deceased was interviewed and she briefly explained that her baby boy slept with his five siblings on the same bed. When she woke up she saw her baby facing down on the bed,” the Police said.

“The mother tried to wake the baby, but he didn’t respond and she immediately took him to the hospital for medical examination.”

The second homicide case involves an eleven-month-old boy who was also found dead.

The third investigation involves a 24-year-old male who was confirmed dead upon arrival at the hospital.
