BOSTON, MA (HawaiiNewsNow) — Travelers will soon have a new option if they want to fly nonstop between Hawaii and Boston.

Hawaiian Airlines on Thursday announced that it is offering nonstop service from the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport to Boston Logan International Airport starting April 2019.

“There is nowhere on earth like Hawaii, and we are bringing our islands closer than ever to Boston with nonstop service,” said Hawaiian Airlines President and CEO Peter Ingram, in a statement.

Using its Airbus A330 widebody aircraft, Hawaiian will commence its five-day-a-week service on April 4 – just in time for Patriots Day on April 15.

Boston is currently the largest U.S. market without nonstop service to Hawaii.

Hawaiian is celebrating its new service with special roundtrip fares of $617 in the main cabin and $1,776 in first class.

Tickets must be purchased by Sunday and are good for travel from April 4 through 30.
