PM and others help Grace

The family of a four-year-old girl who cannot walk on her own is extremely grateful to Prime Minister, Tuilaepa Sa’ilele Malielegaoi and several other ‘Good Samaritans.’ Grace Runa Misipati, of Ma’agao, has to be carried by her siblings.Sometimes, she has to slide around the house because of an unidentified ailment in her right leg which causes her limb to bend on an angle. She has now been given the chance to get treatment from Shriner’s Hospital in Hawaii but her parents don’t have enough money for the extra costs.Grace’s surgery and airfare as well as the accompanied relative airfare is being paid for by Shriner’s, but the family is required to pay for the visas and to find pocket money.(Proceeds from the annual golf tournament held by the American Samoa Shrine Club funds the airfares.)On Sunday, Grace’s plea for help was published in Sunday Samoan.Yesterday, her mother Malaga Misipati said told the Samoa Observer that she received calls from people who wanted to make her daughter’s wish come true.
