Cook Island's NGO to keep up pressure on purse seiner deal

Leading Cook Islands non-government environmental agency, the Taporoporo'anga Ipukarea Society says it's going to keep pressure on the government to disclose financial details of its purse seining agreement with a South Korean company.The TIS chairman Kelvin Passfield says Cook Islands people have a right to know the nature of the agreement the government has with Silla Company Limited which was given the green light in January to purse seine for 400 days in Cook Islands waters.
