OFC Under-17: New Caledonia beats host nation

In the first game of the 2015 OFC Under-17 Soccer Championships that was played in Samoa yesterday afternoon, New Caledonia was able to defeat host nation Samoa by a score of 2-0 when New Caledonia player Nelson Kai scored at the 23-minute mark, as teammate Tiaou put one in at the 56-minute mark.

 

(Samoa is 25 hours ahead of American Samoa.)

 

There were two other games that Samoa News was not able to retrieve scores for, as of press-time. They were between the Cook Islands versus Papua New Guinea and Fiji going against powerhouse and defending champion New Zealand.
