The Rotary Club of Pago Pago is now accepting advance purchases of fresh Christmas trees at different locations across the island. In its 19th year, the annual Christmas Tree Sale has always benefited local residents, as 100% of the proceeds go directly to funding community service projects.

The Rotary Club’s biggest planned project right now is the community swimming pool, set to be constructed at the Pala Lagoon with funding assistance from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program, administered by the Dept. of Commerce.

Fresh Christmas trees are 6-7 feet tall and cost $75 but the price drops to $65 with prepayment. In addition, fresh wreaths are also available for $25.

Advanced purchase locations are: the Tool Shop, Sadie’s by the Sea, Transpac, and National Pacific Insurance (NPI) in Utulei.

Trees will be available at the Tool Shop in Tafuna Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
