Cool Stuff: Goal Zero USB Fan

Goal Zero only hits home runs.  They are my go to guys on a daily basis. Last week’s East Oahu power outage was no different.

The Devine Mrs Cool Stuff, as usual was at 2% on her iPhone.  So I whipped out the Goal Zero Guide Plus 10, plugged her phone in, and walked out the door to shoot an apparent electrical power box explosion, or car crash, or boulder knocking out stuff.... who knew...it was a big noIse and no more power.

My Goal Zero Switch 8 (now upgraded to a Switch 10) was where it belonged in my right front pocket, in case the drama extended.  Using my iPhone to rush off an initial image to the Honolulu Star Bulletin and Samoa News, I was glad to have the iPhone power backup.

Spent an hour at the scene, came back to find the Devine Mrs Cool Stuff was up to 59%, making Goal Zero a major hero in her book (edited on a daily basis as to whom is naughty and who is nice for either Santa Claus or maybe the other evil guy that lives Down Under in the most absolute true sense).

My first order of business on return to the Ponderosa was to hook up my precious Goal Zero USB Fan, to my Lighthouse 250.  And of course I dedicated that Lighthouse 250 to the fan, and I have another for light, or my iPhone, or my iPad. Next step was to plug in my Goal Zero Sherpa 50 to my wifi so I could send Rhonda prompt images without being spanked for missing my deadline.

There are plentee more goodies in my Felix the Cat bag of Cool Stuff tricks that would keep me going for days, months and years. Remember, all the GZ tech goodies hook up to their own magical solar panels... and my other secret stuff coming soon to a Cool Stuff column nearest you.

Nothing more cool than a GZ USB Fan to make writing Cool Stuff a breeze when your usual electric power sources hit the doldrums. (Ok, too much syrup in that phrase.) Thanks Goal Zero.
