Little League summer baseball wrapping up

The American Samoa Baseball Association (ASBA) Little League Summer Program is coming to an end this coming Saturday— but will continue with games today and tomorrow on the 4th of July (America’s Independence Day) as well. All of the games will be taking place at the Tony Solaita Baseball Field.

 

Today’s games have the Cubs and Rangers taking on one another in the Coach Pitch Division, while it will be the Angels versus the A’s in the Majors, with both of these games having a scheduled starting time of 3:00 p.m. There will also be one girl’s softball game today with a scheduled starting time of 4:00 p.m.

 

Tomorrow’s July 4 games will be starting at 8:00a.m.  There will be Tee Ball action between the Giants and Angels followed by the A’s versus the Cubs in Coach Pitch. There will be a total of four game in the Minors, one in the Majors and one girls softball game.

 

The closing ceremony is this Saturday at 1:00 p.m. or after the last games of the season are played that day.

 

ASBA President J. Victor Langkilde invites the public out to the remainder of the games and the closing ceremony this coming Saturday.
