The American Samoa Tennis Association (ASTA) held its successful 2014 National Championships during this year’s Flag Day week that had local Senior players competing in the Open tournament while local Junior players competed against one another and 20 Junior players from Apia, Samoa.

The tournament ranged from 12 & Under Division, to an Open Division, and also served as the first 2015 Pacific Games trial.

“I would like to thank all of the players that came out and did a fantastic job and played with everything they had. It was a fantastic tournament and everyone played great,” said President of the ASTA Billy Young. President Young also stated that he would also like to thank their many sponsors especially major sponsor Hawthorne Samoa Inc. and CarQuest.
