PanSa crowned champions of FFAS National League D2

PanSa has been crowned champions of the men’s Division 2, 2013 FFAS National League with a division-best 13 points.

 

Fred Maiava provided the game winning shot to seal the title and also a promotion to Division 1 for the 2014 season. He launched a 45-yard strike on the second half’s opening kickoff that found the back of the net for a 3-2 score.

 

As for the division’s FFAS National Cup, it changed hands for the second time this season after Vaitogi United earned their first win by beating Vaiala Tongan 2-0. Mikey Unasa scored both goals to win the hardware and also get their first “W”.

 

The third match of the division had the Atu’u Broncos beating Green By 4-2.

 

With the second place finish Vaiala Tongan has earned a spot in the promotion/relegation match against the 7th and 8th seeds of Division 1. These games will be held at a date to be determined later.

 

The final standings of the Division 2 are:
