Stream and debris pose danger to public

As Department of Public Health continued its inspection of TM Mart, the Pago Pago village grocery store with the contaminated frozen goods, Samoa News noticed the stream that runs underneath a bridge next to the store was filled with debris and there was an odor coming from it.

The Million dollar Question is: Who is responsible for cleaning this up? Department of Health? Office of Samoan Affairs and the Pulenu’u (Village Mayors) during the weekly cleanups they get paid for? AS-EPA, who are promoting an ANTI-Litter ‘Adopt a Stream’ Program? Public Works, because it is next to the road?

(By the way that opening looks dangerous. What if a child fell into it?)
