DOH APPRECIATION DINNER HONORS LONG-TIME EMPLOYEES
Dr. Saipale Fuimaono, Primary Care physician accepting the award for Palestina Jennings, who has been with the Dept. of Health for 23 years.
Pictured with Dr. Fuimaono is Motusa T. Nua, the Director of DOH at the department's Employee Appreciation Dinner last Thursday night at the Samoa Sports Complex. Mrs. Jennings was not able to attend because she was in Manu'a attending to the Dept. of Health matters there.
Of special note: Dottie Siavii was also recognized for “Most Years of DOH Service” — with 40 years in the Department of Health.
Also recognized that evening were four DOH employees who have retired and also a special birthday surprise presentation. The Nursing, Leone Health Center and Tobacco/Diabetes Divisions were also recognized.
