Watch for missing Marine Safety rescue board

Ranger Sapu Maiava of the Department of Public Safety Marine Patrol humbly asks the public to please be on the lookout for two of their ‘Rescue Boards’ that were lost during a Search & Rescue mission recently.

High seas caused the boards, which were attached to the back of the jet skis used during the mission, to become loose and they were lost somewhere between Fatu ma Futi and the Matu'u area.

Maiava stated that it is very important that if anyone finds these boards to please contact Marine Patrol at 633-2004 or 633-1696, as the boards are vital to their rescue operations and difficult to replace.
