LEONE HIGH SCHOOL FRESHMAN IS AN OVER ALL SCIENCE FAIR WINNER

Leone High School Freshman Ambika Murali, an overall winner of this year’s Island Wide Department of Education Science Fair for Secondary, received her award Friday afternoon at the Gov. H. Rex Lee Auditorium.

 

The title of her project is ‘A study of electrolytic conductivity in natural and artificial drinks’.

 

Grace Lagai of Manulele Elementary School Level 8, was the 1st place overall winner in the upper level division grades 5-8 in this year’s Island Wide Science Fair last Friday.. Her project was called ‘Science Fingerprinting’ that also took 1st place in the Chemistry division.  See her photo below.

 

And finally, Malo Mata’u, a 2nd grader at Leatele Elementary School, was the 1st place overall winner in this year’s Dept. of Education Island Wide Science Fair lower level division of grades K through 4. His project ‘Let’s Go Green’ also took 1st place in the Environmental Science category. See his photo below.
