The Electric Power Corporation (EPC) in Samoa is urging its customers – who have electricity already - to use electricity for essential needs only.

The message came in a statement from EPC, issued yesterday, as EPC officials work around the clock to restore electricity to everyone in Upolu and Manono.

E.P.C also urges people with standby generators to run their generators until electricity is fully restored.

The statement in full is published in Samoa Observer.
