Bus accident in Samoa kills two, injures more than twenty

A bus accident in Samoa has killed two people including the driver and a 17 year old girl, and injured more then twenty people.

The bus was taking a Sunday school of over thirty people for a picnic when the accident happened on a road at Sama’i village in Falelatai District.

A senior nurse at Leulumoega District hospital says six people are seriously injured but stable the rest were treated and discharged.

Meanwhile the assistant police commissioner, Leaupepe Fatu Pula, says speeding is suspected to be the course of the accident when the driver has lost control of the vehicle.
