Co-Ed Slow Pitch Update

The Department of Parks and Recreation 2012 Ben Solaita Co-Ed Slow-Pitch Softball Classic concluded another week of action with exciting games this past Saturday at the Tony Solaita Baseball Field in Tafuna.

First off, Marist East topped Kip McGrath 17-7.  In other games, Alanoa hammered Meto Youth by a score of 19-4, Marist West was able to hold on to the lead in a narrow win, when they downed ASESRO Cobras 7-5, while the Department of Public Works held on to defeat Leone II by a score of 15-12.

The next game will be played today with Marist East taking on Alofau, while tomorrow Mar. 6 will have Meto Youth battling it out with Alofau. On Wednesday, Mar. 7, it will be Kip McGrath versus Leone I, Thursday, Mar. 8 ASERO Cobras versus Leone 2 and on Friday, Mar. 9 it will be Meto Youth versus Marist West.

On Saturday, Mar.10 to end out the week, with a scheduled starting time of 9:00 a.m. for the first game, it will be Marist East versus the Department of Public Works (9:00 a.m.), Alanoa versus Leone II (10:30 a.m.) and the Department of Public Works versus Leone I (12:00 p.m.).
