Indonesia, AmSam complete first cooperative talks

JAKARTA — The governments of Indonesia and American Samoa are seeking the possibility to cooperate in tourism, agriculture and fishery, an Indonesian official said.

Teuku Faizasyah, Indonesian presidential spokesman, made the remarks at a press conference after a meeting of Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Governor of American Samoa Togiola TA Tulafon at the State Palace here.

The cooperation would be developed between the Indonesian province of North Sulawesi and American Samoa, Xinhua news agency quoted Faizasyah as saying.
