Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Cruise Ship ‘NOORDAM’ will be calling into our Port of Pago Pago on Monday, October 28th, 2019. She will be arriving from Kailua Kona, Hawaii at 7:00am and will depart our waters for Savusavu, Fiji at 6:00pm the same day.

She will be carrying 2366 passengers and 820 crew aboard her vessel.  She is on a 33 day cruise that started in Vancouver, Canada and will end in Auckland, New Zealand.

The American Samoa Visitors Bureau encourages and reminds all tour drivers (commercial bus & taxi) to dress appropriately when soliciting tour services to visitors off the ship. Appropriate island attire is strongly recommended for this event, and is as follows: clean “elei” or Polynesian printed shirts with ‘ie fai taga or slacks for men; and elei or Polynesian printed puletasi or outfits for women.

“Let us showcase American Samoa’s HOSPITALITY and WELCOME our guests and visitors to a pleasant day on our shores,” states the ASVB.

The cruise ship vendor market will be set up at the “Wharf Service Area” on the main dock, next to the Main Terminal building. Please note that for security reasons, the public is not allowed to enter the wharf service area on the dock to shop at the cruise ship vendor market.
